Overcoming the Obstacles of Discipleship. Where do I find the time? Can God use me? Where do I start? Tickets are avaiable at the Welcome Desk on Sunday for $5 ($10 at the door).

To be a Christian is to be growing as a disciple of Jesus. Discipleship is not a second tier of Christianity, nor is it "just for super Christians". Discipleship is learning to follow the life and teachings of Jesus with the help of a disciple-maker. Jesus' focus on the importance of discipleship is captured in his command to his first disciples, to go and make disciples of all nations and to teach them to obey everything He commanded (Matthew 28:18-20).

Are you seeking to obey Jesus in every area of life, or are you simply coasting along? What areas do you need to grow in to be a faithful and fruitful disciple of Jesus? If you are already growing as a disciple, is it time for you to step up and learn to make disciples for Jesus?

Join us for one, two, or all three Men's Discipleship Breakfasts as we look at the questions above; define "discipleship" and "making disciples"; do a personal assessment of our spiritual growth; and consider the next steps in growing as a disciple of Jesus, and making disciples for Jesus.

Our hope is that every man in the church would be growing as a disciple of Jesus, and would be making disciples, within the context of one-on-one discipleship, or in a 3-4 person Covenant Group, or in a Men's Discipleship Group.
