Making Space for God: Spiritual Disciplines and Practises for Regular People
Do you sense God calling you to a deeper experience of Himself? Have you wondered if it is possible to really know God? Is true transformation possible? In this 6-week class you will learn some time-honored practises that will help you Make Space for God. This will be an experiential, 'hands-on' class.
Questions we will address: Who is this God we seek? Who am I in the sight of God? What is my right response to God? How do I make myself available to God? Is praying more than asking for stuff?
This group is for anyone happy to have finished high school and REALLY happy to not be 30!

Debra Hoffos: Creating spaces for people to connect powerfully with God is key to my ministry calling. I have been privileged to serve James North staff and volunteer leaders this past year as coach and mentor. My husband Tracy and I live in Fenwick and have a big extended family spread out across Canada.
Erin Steckley: Erin has been at James North for four years, calling Hamilton home for six. She is currently attending McMaster Divinity College and loves having conversations with people about Scripture and how God is working in their lives.
